Now we’re talkin. Haven’t had a Sizzano in like 37 years. Dang. Relatively youthful color. Nose is lively and high-toned. Floral, bright cherry and red fruit, loads of crushed rock-infused dry warm gravel. Intense yet light-footed in the mouth. Forceful acidity buoys macerated cherry flavors that turn minerally as the finish extends. Some soft tannin hidden in there too. Will last and improve over the next several years but really fine now. Go Spanna!
