In the summer I would be prone to put a little chill on this to bring it to the level of jiving with summer produce like sun gold tomatoes & fava beans, since its floral complexity would also adapt to their flavors, not overwhelm them.

May 20th, 2017Enjoying this this after a while open. Tart cherry, prune, violets, some chocolate that lingers long on the tongue. Yet delicate still. Aroma is a hot and lacking. Not a wine with particular gravitas, but a delicious and deceptively interesting expression for its simplicity.
