Does little for me. Comes off as big and a bit warm despite 13.5% on label. Just fine.

A wine of exceptional beauty and concentration. 2004 Ayoub, from winemaker Mo Ayoub has aged well. Slightly brickish rim, notes of dusty raspberry, mushroom, forest branches. On the palate, it's silky and fully mature. Black cherries, black tea and sweet tobacco. Savoury, earthy and gorgeous!

First wine that Mo made. Good stuff, and the wines are still getting better every year. Almost 20 more acres coming online in the next few years spread between two sites in the Dundee Hills. Also picking up Murto again and Holstein as well.
