Qvevri is a large amphora! Big dark fruit bouquet. Soft dark fruit up front. And then a burst of that Zinfandel pepper in the middle. Finishes with an earthiness. You can taste the separate layers! At Bandana’s African Wine Tasting. I had this with a roasted duck bobotie which matched perfectly!
