🇦🇺 2015 Shiraz | Following Trixie's recent notes about this wine 🍷 I had to try it and see for myself. Australia is known for growing fine Shiraz 🍇 I let it breathe a couple of hours before tasting. Medium body, a bit light for this type of varietal, with sweet edge but overall good for the ten bucks spent. I am having this one with pizza 🍕 12.5% ABV.

Pours a deep violet color in the glass.
Aromas of blackberry and plum with a hint of cinnamon.
On the palate more blackberry and plum with peppery spice. A sweet Shiraz. Slightly thin bodied.
Not sure why some of the harsh reviews. I've certainly had worse wines than this.
