Wow. The 2005 Aubert Lauren Vineyard chard is awesome. In fantastic shape after 10 years, this wine has all the attributes one expects from Mark's chardonnays: layers of flavor, a hint of oak, coupled with enough acidity to keep it vibrant on the palate. It has lost a bit over the years - when I first tried this in 2007 it was the best CA chard I had ever had (and it's still in my Top 5) - but the balance (which is where it's lost a bit) and long, layered finish is still spectacular. Kudos to Mark Aubert!
