Aubaine Wines Anahata Vineyard Vreugde Chardonnay 2022, Eola Amity Hills, Oregon

Light gold in color.

Fruity nose of citrus, lemons, apples, pears, light earth, spices, light honey and minerals.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with red and green apples, light grapefruits, herbs, lemons, light earth, limes and spices.

Long finish with limes and herbs.

This young Chardonnay from Oregon is already drinking beautifully. Complex and crisp, with a nice mouthfeel. Neither bitter nor tart. Nicely balanced and fruit forward.

This Single Vineyard Chardonnay is easy drinking and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.

Dangerously delicious, so watch out. Blink and the bottle is gone.

Fruit forward right out of the bottle, and gets earthier after 30 minutes of airtime.

Good by itself as a sipping wine, and paired nicely with Brie cheese and crackers, by the pool.

13.1% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

$55.
