Almonds, citrus, and gun smoke initially. Cream, honeysuckle and lemon zest on the palate. The oak presense is noticeable and adds mouthfeel + structure. Enough acid to achieve a nice balance, very enjoyable and better then expected.

Great nose. Unmistakably Pinot Gris, with a touch of Pinot blanc, of course.. Ripe Apple, spice, bit of lees, chalky minerals and dried flowers on the nose. mouth filling and exotic on the palate, with toasty yeast finishing the experience. At 13% and for the price, this rocks. I'm a fan.

Great balance between voluptuousness and cut. Somewhat reminiscent of a Rhone white, though it possesses that unmistakable hazelnut Pinot Gris thing. Bien Nacido's Pinot Blanc, while the smaller component, comes through loud and clear, all nuts, honey, and stony minerality. Perfect wine for a Tuesday.
