Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

What a great surprise!! This wine way over delivers at its price point.

Still straightforward. Especially cedary this vintage

Dark juicy plums and some acai berry, faintly smoky and floral, has a mouthwatering chewing tobacco texture I like.. rich+spices+strong acid. Makes you think Malbec. Being warm full and ripe, have it with some Italian food

Mikuni wine, every time 🍷

Purplish-red with aromas of black and blue berries with some vanilla and chocolate. Loads of herbs and spices. Green peppers, some sage, and plenty of oak. Maybe a touch too much oak. Full-bodied and rich, this has a clean palate. Clean is good, but there's no funk. This is a pretty standard Napa Cab so it is indeed Big & Bold, but quite enjoyable.

Had a cold while tasting this wine, but still felt that this was a great wine, particularly at the price point of $20. Fresh herbs, green pepper, with a touch of vanilla on the nose. Smooth and vibrant with gripping tannins.

Full bodied, even notes, great to pair for light meals
