These semi dry Moldavian wines are a hit in Eastern Europe, but really lacking any specific qualities or characteristics to appeal to a broader market. I mean, sweet Pinot noir? And if this is the semi dry, I’d hate to have the version with more added sugar. It is marketed to go with veal and lamb, but I think it would stop any good game flavors from shining through. Just jammy and grape jelly like.
