Third wine from Arterra Wines. Crimson red with garnet edges. A little more smoke on the nose than the Cabernet Franc, and more perfume. Undertones of leather and white pepper too, nicely layered. Darker characteristics on the palate, some berries too. Rolls down your tongue with an almost papery texture. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) with a moderate body, slightly fuller than the Cabernet Franc. Long and lingering finish. Would be great to try this in a couple years to see how it integrates and develops further. Drink till 2024.
