Saint August Assyrtiko

This is the unfiltered version. Fuller white. Almost an orange wine crossed with a less sweet desert wine. There’s salinity with good acidity and am almost cooking oil mouth feel. There’s a golden raisin, cumquat l, nectarine flavor coming through as well with orange zest citrus notes. The pallet is similar. There a good amount of complexity to this full flavored ‘white’ wine. Good for roasted chicken, pork chops, stinky cheeses and buttery fish.
