Unlike last time I had this, the wine was much more complex and layered. Initial big bramble fruit at PnP gave way to more subtle layers with some earth, some oak, and some black pepper spiciness.

Lots of layered fruit still at the front with a touch of spice in the mid range leads me to believe that this was a really nice bottle a few years ago, but the finish is all but non-existent.
