This wine pours a thick dark purple. It’s nose is quite light. But great flavors of red licorice, cola, and maybe leather. It has a refined, heavy texture more like older blends than this 2016. It has a short but decent finish. It went well with the Greek food we paired it with. It was a cool find in Santa Cruz where Armida winery has a retail store.

Ok so I did buy this based on the label itself but it was surprisingly nice. Would buy again
