Armenia has been making making wine for over 6000 years but throughout the 20th century, most of the grapes are used to produce (good) brandy and (cheap) sweet wines. Wine production started to make a comeback couple of years ago and it shows that the land and climate is more than capable of producing some of the best wines. This is a great entry level Armenian red blend. Full bodied, earthy nose, fruity palate (especially black cheery), and mineral finish.
