Rich and suave with baked apple, gingerbread & marzipan yet with lemony freshness. A touch of mushroom, too. On the palate broad yet with a core of mineral, juicy acidity. As if this were a great still wine. But the froth & the bubbles are fine and keep on coming. This is complex, elegant and very fine, with 14y old reserve wines.
