2004 was a stellar year but supposedly this is past peak. It probably is... as it feels "heavy". But, I should start with the good.
The nose has evolved from very smelly feet on open, through damp basement, to smoky socks. On the palate, some currant leaning raisin suggesting it is the indeed overdue.
It was a little laborious to drink. Big alc still and some tannins still there (good). Overall, I will not push my luck this long again on Priorat. Worth the 48 bucks though!
