Dark Fuit, earthy with a bitter almond finish. Soft tannins but slightly higher acidity than expected. In general, it is a “good value” medium body red that could pair with a wide range of dishes.

Tangy smell. Easy and somewhat tastes like plums and turkey and Thanksgiving in a wine glass.

Deep clear ruby. Plummy on the nose, melded with cedar pencil box. On the palate it's the *sunny tomato acid* cheap Italian red dealio I've come to expect. Some fruit, but I get more tomato, grassy meadow and spicy leather. I agree with another reviewer, tannins are blah: not strong, not smooth, just kinda diffuse and chalky without really accomplishing anything. Fatty food makes them feel smooth. Compared to other ~$10 central Italian reds I've had, this one goes a little deeper into plum, and has a lingering note of baking spices. Food is important with this for sure, and that sweet baking spice on the finish wants the right pairing.

Easy drinking! Not as rich and complex as others of this varietal but good nonetheless.
