Top Notes For
Ray Vanderhoff

Plentiful aromas of red berry fruit, violets and peat moss. Abundant red and black cherry/raspberry and cranberry fruit on the palate with additional notes of black licorice, baking spices and tobacco. Pleasant hint of oak on the medium-plus earthy and tangy finish. Medium body and tannins. Good balance of acidity, fruit and alcohol. Reminds me more of a Merlot than a Pinot Noir. Thanks for the glass, Chris B!

A heavier Pinot, really good and can stand alone.
