Very similar to the Ledge (both were an identical 15.5%). Fruit forward, high octane syrahs. Both very well made wines in this style. If you want nuance you better look elsewhere.

Second time having it, second time loving it! I've never had anything that @Andrew Vingiello that wasn't anything but delicious. Boy got skills!

That @Andrew Vingiello is at it again. Awesome wine that paired nicely with a ridunculous Korean meal at a place called Nama I think. I've never had a wine from AP Vin that was less than awesome.

Feb 26th, 2017@Delectable Wine this is the SMG. Trying this for the first time and @Andrew Vingiello has another winner here. Massively dark and brambly immediately upon opening. No time to decant so we just dove in. The nose was a little shy but once it hits your palate - BAM!

Great stuff, opened up in 1/2 hour or so, big & rich and intense, still wild, bright acidity and lots of dark fruit, sh/ settle down in a few years
