Reserve Series 10 Barrel Production Cabernet Sauvignon

Great wine! Long smooth finish with ripe fruit, tobacco and light spice at end.

A very impressive Cab from a wine club only producer in the Coombsville AVA of Napa Valley. The winemaker, Grant Long, Jr., only makes 600 cases total of all his wines.

Really nice and smooth

Very nice wine. Mountain fruit. Poured with medium density to the glass. Nose was actually a classic Oakville nose of dense black fruit and youthful oak. Smoky. Entry is medium bodied, black cherry tart that gets a little deeper and darker with good acidity to the back. Youthful tannin here with a hint of pepper, not overdone. IMO still needs a few more years to integrate a little more but still a really nice wine.

As Grant says these are ready to drink now. Very smooth for such a young cab.

First sip was very nice. Great dark red fruit with a hint of jam without any flabbiness. Pepper on the finish with some black licorice. Nice herbs on the nose. Very enjoyable wine that will age for a decade at least

Went very well with BBQ. Nice lush fruit on the palate, silky smooth.

We visited Aonair in Napa on my 50th in Oct. it was so good I joined their wine club.
