Solid malbec based blend from a small operation in Mendoza where I stayed years ago. This shows great earthy notes, smoke, anise, cloves, currants with a little leather. Solid fruit on the palate with a spicy finish. Moderate acid, velvety tannins but alcohol is a touch hot.

I'm glad I opened it earlier and waited on it and her, because the thin fruit has developed nicely into somewhat of baking spice and vanilla scent with round ripe fruit. Good to change a white drinker to a red, e.g. this brunette!
