A 30/25/25 blend of Castelao, Trincadeira, Aragonez, with the remainder being a bunch of other varieties. from granite & schist soils, with 50% aged in French oak, the rest in steel.
Surprisingly light & fresh for Alentejo, with pure red & black fruit paired with savory herbs. Pure, fresh, even light.
Medium bodied on the palate, with fresh juicy acidity, purity of fruit and lightness to the firm tannins. There’s some rocky minerality underneath and good depth.
This comes across as effortless, airy, juicy & vibrant - not your typical Alentejo power horse. Even the alc stays at a modest 13%
Delicious drinking!
