Truly superb single vineyard Sagrantino. Dark red, massive structure and elegance. Floral, layers of plums, blackberries, cinnamon; huge yet silky chocolate tannins and a beautiful very long finish. Was very stern when opened, much improved over a 4 hour decant, with food. Patience! Will keep forever, or for another 10+ years at least.

High heavy tannins, leather, dried fruits, black cherry. Really good for 10 years, could be even richer with some more time in bottle. Trying straight after opening

Beautiful layers of different characters. Strong and cool tannins builds a fortress where a gentle princess lives. She's calm and wears dark robes decorated with mature plums and dark berries and chocolate. The fortress later collapsed and that's when I realized that albeit its hardness, it was also made of chocolate.
