Second go around was just as enjoyable. Similarly intriguing aromas of coffee and berries and a palate with good concentration of tart cherries and currents. Medium body, good acidity, with a relatively long finish.

Excellent aromatics of freshly brewed coffee, toasted oak, chicory, blackberry preserves, and a hint of spice. Dark ruby in color with a medium-full body and soft mouthfeel. The palate is filled with dark fruit with some of the coffee notes and spices with a decent finish. Intriguing wine. It was $25 from the tasting room. This winery has a tiny production (less than 1000 cases annually for their entire portfolio, BTW the winery was founded by a pharmacist who is still working) but if you can find it, it's worth a try.
