No real notes. Very strong and harsh, should be left alone for about 5 years and get an healthy decant before serving. Nice nose of raspberry and cherry, there is a vegetal thing on the nose. The palate is vere strong, with a powerful cherry note, some width, some matter, harsh tannins that dry everything in their wake, a tangy, acid driven finish with cherry and blackberry nose that goes on for ever. It needs time to settle down I think, it lacks a bit of the fun and joyfulness that I usually enjoy in Loire Cab Francs.

Fruity for a cab franc. Nicely balanced and easy to drink. Has a nice aftertaste and some of the smoky character that I like in cab franc from the Loire. I think I prefer Chinon although this may be friendlier.
