At the peak of its development. The aroma is marvelously alive, brighter than the 2012, maybe missing some bass notes. Does not have the balanced complexities of Bartolo Mascarello’s and Roagna’s but very persuasive as an authentic Barolo.

V: slight orange on rim, brown on core. N: cherry, cold dark chocolate , strong perfume, hay. P: dark chocolate, med plus acid, bitterness on end. need food for this wine!!!
