The 2013 Riserva has more fruit and freshness than the 2015 regular Barolo. Similar in style, less tannins, more elegant but still rustic and powerful. Was not able to detect any distinctive vineyard signature, but the aroma has already penetrated deeply into the structure the way old Burgundy’s develop so that the aroma is not fleeting away.
