Dr. Robert Pamplin, an Oregon businessmen, purchased historic Chateau Benoit Winery in 1999. Aged in French oak for 9 months. Aromas of stone fruits, citrus and sweet spice. Palate shows pear, orange and sweet apple flavors with vanilla and a touch of oak. Lingering finish ending with mineral notes. Nice offering.

Actually pretty good, especially given the price. Crisp, with decent fruit and finish. Tastes like a more expensive Pinot blanc or mild sauv blanc.
