Anne Amie Vineyards
Willamette Valley Estate Dry Riesling
Nose has wet vinyl, peach marmalade, cut yellow apple (cold), gardenia flowers, blanched peach skin, dried apricot (cold) and minor oak barrel.
Palate has tart Clementine, lemon zest, grapefruit juice, fresh green apple peel, wet slate, light petrol with a slight frizzante presence in the mouth. This bottle will hold easily, in proper storage, until at least 2030, good structure, even under Stelvin no concern on 6-10 more years waiting. OR Rieslings are long haul wines.
Wish we did a long term aging experiment on this bottle, at $17 world have been interesting to see development. Last bottle 🤷♂️🤦♂️

About 10 mo. since our last bottle, prior notes are mostly consistent. Added peach marmalade to the mix on this bottle, age is improving. Fun stuff for $17.

Dec 31st, 2018Dry, with a petrol / fresh rubber nose. Palate is dry and stony, with a pronounced fresh grapefruit finish. Complex and well polished.

Mar 27th, 2018Wet slate, light petrol with white flowers on the nose. The palate is light peach, green apple, nice minerality with medium acidity. A solid play for $17.
