Heideboden Pinot Blanc

I love this wine. Mineral, earthy, direct, I'm just in love.

This went from tasty to amazing after 24 hours open, suddenly rich as marcona almonds with a ton of salty mineral flavor. It's just too bad we drank the other half yesterday...

Rich golden in colour, with a quite restrained nose - almonds, some toast, tarte tatin and an earthy, mushroomy undertone plus a whiff of fresh herbs. Amazing structure - broad yet tantalizingly light - with a fine balanace. Almonds, refreshing salinity, a touch of green lemon. Far from the average, obvious PB and showing really beautifully.

Love the mouthfeel, almost oily balances with striking acidity and a nice core of fruit, all in balance, almost restrained.

Weniger Frucht, mehr mineralisch/ salzig, schmeckt

Gentle butterscotch, good to drink sans food!

Funky, grsssy, mineral-y and medium bodied.
