Incredibly smooth and very silky and soft. Nice dark purple color. Low in acidity. Low to medium tannin. A little grip comes a little later in the long finish. On the tongue there is a pleasant amount of ripened plums. It is Syrup-like once it enters. Flavors of juicy prunes are strong with a hint of cigar and tobacco and some fig. Really enjoyed this wine. Went well with famous home made meatballs and spaghetti squash.
