2014v. Grapefruit, gooseberries, and a little grass. Kind of flabby acidity. 13.8% ABV. Better SBs for the money.

Fruity on front end but not sweet. Perfectly good for a $12 bottle of wine.

1st Russian River Valley Sav Blanc. Nice. A little sweeter than the Marlboroughs we like, but not unbalanced. A little peach on the front, nice acid & minerally finish. Had it with seared shrimp & mushroom risotto and went together quite well.

Green apple on the nose and palete. Medium bodied for a SB. Tart and bitterness on the "swish" with a little acidic pucker. Very minor minerality. Slight lemon and melon as well.

Aimee Rating - 8.4
