Cherry cola, black currant, cocoa powder, bramble, asphalt and leather. Astringent tannins, with 5-10 years left.

Yum! After this opens up a little and gets to proper temperature, the acidity and tannins tone down a bit and is wonderful.

Possibly my first Brunello. I dig it. Some great fruit and finish.

Not sure where this came from? Found this in the bottom rack. Tight and firm. Good description after the gym but as a wine it was restrained. Still enjoyable showing cherry, pomegranate, blackberry, bark and moss.

The cheapest Brunello I could find and still not cheap. Very dry and nicely built with sort of tannic purple plum backbone. Really good.
