Bretty?, ripe kumquat, bit of petrol; and a significant chunk of this wine's sensory impact very strangely reminds me of 09 Maume Bourgogne (sweet earthy bourbon notes over sweet ripe Pinot). Not quite ready for my SB to do this...? But maybe I need to open my mind.

So unlike any Sauv Blanc I've ever had, and that's a compliment! Very cool. Medium body, apricot just before it gets too ripe, no sharp acid edges. Lots of hard to pin down character.
