Natty umbria white that has probably gone through skin maceration. The colour is golden orange, think bourbon cask matured single malt scotch. The nose is wild and a bit funky, with a bit of sulphuy notes, orange peel, honey, apricot. The palate is showing some acid drive but it's not acid driven. There is some width, some matter on the sides, some lemony, orangey notes, a bit of phenolic grip in the rear, disrupting the mouthfeel and leaving a drying layer over an orange peel, lemon peel and apricot/honey finish that goes on for a while. If you are into natty, skin contacts, wild whites from Italy, this is your stuff. If you don't care for that style look away. I like it!
