Oct 17th, 2020A bottle of champagne a month - yep that’s how we roll 🍾
We signed up for a champagne subscription 2 years ago and I loooove it! We have tried so many new tipples and we now have an epic collection on hand for whenever we want to indulge 😋
And selling a house is a good excuse to indulge right 🙌
This Champagne André Heucq Assemblage Extra Brut NV is made of 40% Chardonnay / 30% Meunier / 30% Pinot Noir (’13 and ’14 vintages).
We loved it! From its golden shimmer to the full bouquet of melon, vanilla infused pears, spice, biscuits and pretty florals. In the mouth it’s full of lip smacking, full bodied flavour. Excellent citrus acidity with vivacious bubbles.
I loved the depth and would absolutely buy and drink this again 🥂

Weirdly, tomato jam, apples, and even reminds me of a peppery arugula.
Refreshing. Zippy. Stay with me here — the Gatorade of champagne in terms of quenching thirst.
The taste buds seize up, stand up straight. Bouquet translates to taste with a bit more pear and still a welcome subtle pepper quality on the endnote.
