Anderson's Conn Valley Vineyards
Right Bank Red Bordeaux Blend
Raspberry jam and dark chocolate. I love ACV's Right Bank blend. Very good every year, and this one is no different. Very approachable in its youth.

Oct 1st, 2017I have had every vintage ever produced of this wine. This may be the best yet. Unfiltered and unfined, 74% CF & 26% Merlot. KILLER!!! Everything you want is here, varietal correctness, acid, fine tannins, defined fruit.

Aug 1st, 2016Drinking very nicely at present, so enjoy now or see how it evolved in the next 3-5 years. Prost!

Jun 19th, 2024Another young wine that always drinks well. It was the last bottle of the night so my memory is a bit hazy for tasting notes...but it was definitely a hit

Jul 7th, 2018Clear garnet with a wide brim and cherry undertones. Brilliantly fruity nose of cranberry sauce, black cherry, and plums. Licorice and oak also come to play. With Right Bank in the name, this has a lot to live up to and it certainly does. Indeed reminiscent of Pomerol, this is medium bodied with lighter acidity. Old World leather, more black cherries, currant, menthol smoke, and an herbal essence on the palate. Medium length finish with hints of vanilla and even more fruit. Beautiful stuff.
