Baked black cherry on the nose as well as the palate but really focused with the appropriate amount of oak to tether the fruit. This wine has a gorgeous flavor profile along with a buoyant, natural acidity framing the overall expression.

The 2010 is 70% Merlot and 30% Cab Franc. To me, the CF sticks out a bit on the palate and I wonder if a few more years in the cellar would do it some good. For my tastes, though, the Reserve Cab and the Elogé are both better wines

Well done. Long finish with hints of blueberry and creme brûlée. Very drinkable right now.
