Fairly young vineyard operation that is now making wine from its own grapes. Bought at winery. Pale yellow white, excellent clarity. Hay and orchard fruit notes in nose. Same flavors in mouth, with malic-citric (orange-Meyer lemon) finish and light skin astringency, some minerality in finish. Crisp, well made with good body. Low key operation, relaxed atmosphere, worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood.

This wine is from a small winery that is very young and I was pleased to taste their Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. The SB is a first batch and is very good. Crisp, ripe fruit, perfect for summer and great with fish.
