Anantifaah Molotov cocktail of dark purple bruised fruit and treasonous tannins, there’s an insurrection in mouth and all the Qtards are coming

Blackberry, brown sugar, leather smell, magenta purple color, the blackberry cuts in right away, and gets really acidic and tanniny in lockstep, wood comes through numb at the end with some burlap and green coffee beans (wet-hulled Guatemalan (lol I roast coffee)), not smooth but it works (30 min out) and kind of goes up and down but doesn’t linger

Beautiful crimson color in the glass with a wonderful nose. Blackberries and floral aromatics lead the way, but are followed by decandent chocolate cake and fresh cut roses. The Petite Verdot certainly shows on the palate along with that sweet, sweet Spring Mountain fruit. Fresh coffee, cherries, stewed plums, and dried figs. Violets and cedar on the palate, as well. Silky tannins and nice acid on the long finish. Deliciously round, this definitely goes for finesse over power and is yet another example of the beauty of mountain fruit.

Fabulous Cab with black raspberries, chocolate, and a long linger on the palette.

Great wine - was a bit disappointed with it overall, but expectations were set too high.

Structured, opulent, fragrant, round, deep, balanced, long... An almost perfect wine!

Not sure if the petit Verdot influences the nose but I feel that this has that smell. Casa del mar hotel room smell. Acid finish but not too strong. Lighter finish not velvety like some powerful cabs
