Central Valley Carmenere

I really thought that this Carmenere would have more character in it - instead it was a bit flat and watery.

Dark and slightly bitter for my taste. But it has dark fruit and pepper and is vey inexpensive.

Black fruit and black earth. Interesting if rather normal.

Bad aroma and flavor.

Huge fan - Carmenere my new favorite South American wine. Surprisingly replacing Malbec - fuller bodied with more bite than a malbec. Mui bueno

Nice berry flavors early, then a smooth leathery finish with light tannins

Really interesting! Wonderful scents of green chili or jalapeño. Tastes of jalapeño and dark fruits. Not overly tannic. Big, bold, and delightful!

Had a taste before using it for sangria. Very fruit nose - raspberry & strawberry present. Slightly dry with some spice. A nice smooth finish. It'll make for an amazing sangria with tonight's dinner but I'll be buying another bottle to have on its own.

Boring.
