Generally not a huge pinot fan, but this one is alright. Slightly sweet, ripe berries, minimal tannins #HOPV

If you're in Napa and Sonoma area, and driving often between the two valleys, you've driven by this winery. Stop in. They make fantastic wines sourced from identical locations as many of the "big boys" but at a fraction of the price. This is a gorgeous, smooth and well balanced PN work just the right amount of acidity and fruit. Gorgeous color, fresh strawberry, hint of spice and nutmeg, just a delicious wine.

First tasted in Sonoma, we are quickly going through a case at home. A superb Pinot from pleasant nose to balanced body to slightly tart berry finish. A delight. More please!

This was actually the Anaba sonoma coast Pinot Noir 2012. Spicy and bold, good after a lighter Pinot.

Maybe it was the good company, maybe it is just really, really good. Bottom line - enjoyed, very drinkable w/afternotes that linger- think I will buy some more.
