Fantastic dimension and purity. Elegant, beautifully fruited, great balance of acid, body, tannin on a focused Grenache frame. Nose is red dominant, crisp cherry, raspberry and santa rosa plum. There’s a lovely melange of herbal notes: eucalyptus, talcum, sweet thyme, balsam. Lavender, lilac, white pepper cinnamon round it out. A very pinot-esque Grenache. Always stoked to have this in my glass.

2015. Less intense than 2014, and a bit more elegant. Pretty wine that with some time in a big glass takes on weight and complexity. Great acid. Glad I have a couple more because in a few years this wine will something even more special than it is now. Such a treat.

Strawberry, chalky minerality, red pepper. Light, soft, red raspberry with white pepper finish. Super refined and elegant. A surprise from Barossa.

Minty and very Australian, but with some elegance. This was drunk after a few hours in a decanter. It was good, but if it was anything like the 2014, another day in the decanter would have uncovered its true potential
