2017 vintage. Most unusual red I've ever had. Very light bodied, slightly spritzy, moderate amount of funk. Cranberry, pomegranate, unripe red plum, lingonberry, decaying waxy flowers, little bit of barnyard.

Pale ruby; medium intensity aromas of cranberry, red currant, firm red plum, subtle mineral; subtle spritz upon opening, dry, medium plus acid, low alcohol, medium minus body, medium intensity flavors, a bit more ripe than aromas, but still relatively simple; medium minus finish, not particularly complex or concentrated

Red txakolina...slightly spritzy, black currant candy and hibiscus not much else. Less interesting than a good Lambrusco.
