Negroamaro

This is a very good example of what a napa can can be from a flavor stand point. However the sweetness of this wine speaks to me of RS. Given that this wine is primarily served at Ciccio's in Youngsville which is an excellent pizzeria this one may be perfect with in that context.

Leather. Dark fruit. Dust. Spice. Excellent. 2008.

I probably don't need to ever buy Napa Negroamaro again but glad to have experienced it once! I love the ambition but Altamura should stick to their Sangio which is SO much better.

Not bad but not my favorite. The Sangiovese was much much better

It's not Salice Salento but it's black and robust and great with Ciccio pizza.

Mellowed with age (2007), but still has subtle fruit brightness. Earthy, smooth, wonderful to share with family.

I think these are as good as their cabs. Dark and gamey.

2008 Nebbiolo in 2021. Earthy with leather and blackberries. Very tannic on the finish. Overpriced.

Deep black cherries, wet leather, and a little black pepper. Always a good showing.
