This is a great Sicilian white. The Grillo variety is native to Sicily. It's been cultivated for a thousand years. I've never tasted it until now. It's a more full bodied wine than say a Pinot Grigio. But it's still smooth enough to enjoy chilled by itself on a hot summer day. I haven't had it with any foods. Looking forward to trying it with cheese or fish.
