Alpha Omega is located in legendary Rutherford in the heart of Napa and is one of Napa's newest boutique wineries. A blend of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot & 7% Cabernet Franc. Wow Wine, but needs decanting first. Very dark with purple tints, aromas of complex berry, pepper and herb spice. Flavors of strawberry and blackberry emerge, a touch jammy at times, licorice and cedar notes. Well balanced, big fine tannins, lingering, rich, ending with earthy mineral tones. Very Nice!

Better than the Single varietal Cabernet. This had better length and polish with the additions of the other Bordeaux varietals. It's still not super lengthy, but the balance is all there. Delicious and almost crunchy red and blue fruits with a little coffee and bay leaf.

Hedonistic and full of rich fruits and dried greens. Finish hang and develops to overripe currant and pipe tobacco. Not sure it will get better with age, but it's super polished right now.

Pretty tasty. Solid varietal CS aromas (a good thing, but only 61% Cab). Little bite on the finish, could use some cellaring.

Smooth but bold wine. A bit dry at the end, where the Cabernet really shines through. Excellent wine

Last had one of these 3 years ago. Outstanding red blend. Dry, balanced, exceptional.

Tight initially nose of cherry, baking spices & blackberry, body full with fine grained tannins providing structure but the fruit prevailed. Wonderful long finish.
