Beckstoffer Las Piedras St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon

Just a few bottles from an awesome Open That Bottle Night celebration this past weekend.

Killer wine. Dense, chewy and dark. There is a roasted/charcoal like note throughout. Graphite, blackberry, black cherry, black plum and currant. Very powerful but silk like on the palate. Iron fist in a velvet glove.

Treated by a great friend who opened this incredible bottle. A celebration of refined, jammy, bold goodness.

Deep .. bold wine w a nice sod finish . Graphite currants and cherry !

This is showing well right now. Black fruit, graphite, and thyme.

Nice. The fruit is sort of hiding behind the scorched earth and graphite. Good but not great.

Soft tannin licorice cocoa paired with meatball spaghetti. Young and fun

Drank with porterhouse... very round and paired excellent

Very nice. Lots of black fruit, caramel, and mineral notes.

Drinking well. One of my top AO in their 2014 lineup.

Would like to try in a couple of years!
