Palate of; black cassis, blackberries, black plum, dark cherries, black raspberries, cherries, strawberries. The tannins are round & lean but are not dry. Caramel & mocha, soft spices, faint dark soil, crushed rocks, dry dark florals and mint. Nose fruits are the same as the palate with fresh & dry roses and light tarry nose,

Fresh dark cherry juice with earthy undertones. Wonderfully integrated soft but present tannins giving it a soothing finish. A Bordeaux blend from Hawkes Bay. Brought it home three years ago or so, when one could still travel around the world to places without limitations.

Easy drinking medium body well balanced Bordeaux with an earthy under note. We discovered it last year in Hawkes Bay and it was one of the 25 bottles we brought home from the trip exploring the wine regions in New Zealand from Central Otago, Martinborough, to Hawkes Bay.

It's smooth. Well refined. While lacking the earthy tones of a Bordeaux it's still a very enjoyable wine.

Truly amazing red blend! Wonderful oaky nose with hints of port and dried fruit. A delicious, spicy flavor with strong, dry tannins. Notes of licorice. Very chewy.
